Skip Starbucks, Pete's and Philz!! Best coffee I've had in a long time. How have I not seen or been to this adorable little coffee shop?! (Corner spot in a mini mall lot near Fed ex) Clearly seeing all the positive 5 star reviews Medleno is a downtown Danville fave. I had a caramel latte (2% milk with medium sweet) and it was perfect! The woman helping me (assuming shes the owner) was so friendly and provided excellent service. I just found me a new favorite coffee spot!
Very small coffee shop which is not a bad thing! Sometimes it's nice to stop by a small cafe en route to your next destination. Definitely needed caffeine and this was the right place to go! Seems like a mom and pop cafe and I like it. Will be back when I'm in the area! Good coffee and good vibes. They also have pastries!
The sweetest family owns and works here! They want your experience to be amazing from the first sip and it shows! Super cute small order counter inside with a lot of outdoor seating. Great palce for grab and go in my opinion. Got a caramel latte and it was so delicious and not too sweet! Did not try the pastries but they looked really good! My family's new go too spot! Happy to have find you guys!
Finding hidden gems is always exciting specially when that hidden gem is in your own neighborhood. This place truly deserves the tag of a hidden gem. It's run by some lovely people who are really passionate about coffee. They have an awesome selection of beans, their Caramel Latte is my favorite and you don't get a lot of places serving Turkish coffee.
Finally made it to Medleno yesterday. Ordered their Turkish coffee and a raspberry scone. The coffee was $8. I know! But it took 15 minutes to brew and it was DELICIOUS. The owner recommended adding cardamom , and I'm glad I did. Raspberry scone was huge and good. It's a grab and go kind of a place. Chatted up the owner and another customer. Turned what was a morning coffee run into a pleasant social event
Small but great coffee shop - I love the cold Turkish coffee. I had never had a cold one before; the first time I had it here, it was incredible! :-) I have been going back for it ever since. It's pure coffee, with even the ice cubes made of coffee. Service is quick and very friendly. I will continue going for my cold Turkish coffee.
Medleno has once again proved to be a "must-go" for coffee. Very cozy cafe offering splendid service, quality coffee, and European sweet snacks. Visited on a Wednesday morning around 12pm and there was no wait. I ordered a 16oz iced almond milk latte and was out of the door in less than 5 minutes. The lady who runs the front is sweet as always. I can always count on Medleno for strong, delicious espresso. I'm a close friend to caffeine but their 16oz latte was so strong it took me 2-3 days to finish it. Their espresso is never acidic, never bitter. Be aware there is no seating indoors -- only a small number of chairs and tables outside. They offer a ton of little Eastern European chocolates, candies, and packaged pastries, as well as some to-go baked goods. Love that they also don't charge extra for milk substitutes.
